The exterior represents the three types of stone work that was done depending on a person's status in the city. On the front cover, the tightest fitting stone work for the royalty; on the back cover, the stone work is a bit looser for the middle class people; on the spine, the stone work for the servants. The interior images show the city in present day and when Hiram Bingham first discovered the city.
